Since the beginning
of time to the present, it has been man’s constant struggle to communicate from
location to location. Since the days of Alexander Graham Bell, man has made great strides
in his endeavor. Being on the leading edge of telecommunications is our goal for the twenty-first century. Stockton Telecommunications, Inc. is dedicated to providing high quality Detail Engineering, and Installation of telecommunications systems at a competitive price. The company is recognized as a Minority/Woman Owned Business with its principal corporate office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Company was founded in October, 1985. At that time we were breaking into all facets of Detail Engineering and Installation of fiber optic equipment. In 1986, we received our first contract with a major RBOC, USWEST Communications in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Concurrently, the Company moved its Corporate Office to Albuquerque and began to diversify into all areas of telecommunications equipment Engineering and Installation.
Judy Stockton, President and Owner, along with her husband Wendell, co-founded the Company in 1985. She has a working knowledge of the Installation and Detail Engineering of Central Office equipment and was directly involved with such projects early in the Company's history. Judy currently oversees the daily functions of the Administrative and Accounting Departments at the Corporate Office. Billy Stockton, Vice President, has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications field. He acquired his extensive experience as a Central Office Equipment Technician maintaining Stromberg-Carlson (XY) step-by-step equipment and Northern Telecom DMS switches. His experience also includes Engineering and Installation of various phases of transmission equipment and common systems. Billy oversees our operation in Texas for Southwestern Bell as well as other services we provide to independent phone companies and equipment manufacturers. Ron Stockton, along with Judy, is responsible for overseeing the Company's Administrative and Accounting functions. Ron also oversees the Engineering and Installation services provided in the Southwestern Bell MOKA states (Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas) and in the US West region. Ron has over ten years experience in Outside Plant, and Central Office Installation.
