SummerPreps courses are grouped into eight areas
Skill Builders
Skill Builders includes such academic areas as Language Arts, Foreign Language, Math and Science. While classes are fun and interesting, they also give students academic instruction that will serve them well once theyre back in the classroom.
Surfs Up
Surfs Up includes a variety of challenging classes for students who either want to learn or are already proficient on the computer. Kids can do programming, surf the Net, learn keyboarding skills and create home pages.

The Arts Have It
Arts classes are divided into Studio Arts, Theater Arts and Other Fun Stuff. Students may learn to draw, sculpt in clay, paint, write plays, do storytelling, juggle, play with diablos or yo-yos, shoot photos and much, much more.
Outdoor Activities
This area includes some very exciting offerings - constructing and flying R/C model sailplanes, soaring in a life-size glider, horseback riding, in-line hockey, karate and tennis.
MiniSports Camp
This two-hour afternoon program is designed to help bring balance to a childs life. Youngsters will develop or enhance their skills in a variety of physical activities and sports. Theyll play volleyball, tennis, basketball, lacrosse, soccer and softball.
Crafty As A Fox Craft Camp
In this two-hour afternoon program, children participate in scheduled arts-and-crafts activities.
SPS Sports Camps
The Sandia Prep School coaching staff conducts instructional camps in volleyball, basketball and soccer during three one-week camps.
Childrens Workshop
Albuquerques independent schools - Sandia Prep School, Albuquerque Academy and Manzano Day School - are the sites for this outstanding program for young children. The Childrens Workshop, a summer program for four- and five-year-old children, provides a stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, experiment and make fruitful choices.
